The level of water meters provide customers closer to the level of 50%
State JSC "Azersu", the supplier of water and sewerage services in Azerbaijan announced the provision of 529,180 of its subscribers water measuring devices. This represents 49.3% of the total number of subscribers.
The press-service of JSC Azersu told Turan that since 2012 it started installing smart meters and currently their number exceeds 100 million only six months of this year, such as a smart meter installed 73 thousand subscribers. It mainly covers the city of Baku, Sumgait and Absheron region. Such meters are also installed in areas that are implementing projects to upgrade water and wastewater systems (Guba, Zardab, Imishli, Lankaran, Shamakhi, Oguz, Hajigabul, Tovuz, Agstafa, etc.). - 08D-
