Three Years of Tax Exemptions for Foreign Lorries
In order to increase cargo traffic, trucks and vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers registered abroad will be exempt from road tax for three years.
According to the presidential decree on amendments to the Tax Code, the preferential measure will be introduced from June 1.
The law is applied, if the freight is unloaded at the last railway station on the territory of Azerbaijan to trucks or vehicles with trailers or semi-trailers registered abroad and head to another state via the nearest customs border checkpoint, and if the goods are imported into the the first railway station on the territory of Azerbaijan by trucks and vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers registered abroad through the nearest border checkpoint. --17D-
