Today Baku Hosts Exhibition Caspian Ecology 2016
Today at Baku Expo Center opened the 7th Azerbaijan International Exhibition Environment Caspian Ecology 2016.
The exhibition is attended by 61 companies from 14 countries, among them Britain, Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic and others. For the first time the Caspian Ecology Exhibitors include companies Arkon Flow Systems (Czech Republic), Bluecast JSC (Lithuania), and Dikkan (Turkey).
Traditionally, the exhibition involves the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan.
In general, Caspian Ecology will demonstrate developments in the field of efficient use of natural resources, the system for the collection and disposal of solid waste, attracting people's attention to environmental issues and their resolution.
The exhibition will end on November 18th. It is organized by the company Caspian Event Organizers. -----08D

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has opened a representative office in Albania and is set to launch a specific project this year, the Albanian company "Albgaz" announced.
