Tomorrow starts Healthcare Exhibition BIHE 2013
The 19th Azerbaijan International Healthcare Exhibition BIHE 2013 opens tomorrow, October 31 at Baku Expo Center .
On Wednesday, the exhibition organizers held a press conference on the occasion on which it was noted that this year the exhibition has grown in all respects.
BIHE has become an important meeting place for representatives of state institutions, equipment manufacturers and medical products, medical practitioners, healthcare professionals, said the executive director of the exhibition company ITE Group Plc Edward Strachan .
The spokesman for the Ministry of Health Anar Gadirli stressed that organized exhibitions, plays a crucial role in the development of both public and private medicine. With their help local companies find new partners, offering new technologies and equipment for medicine and medical supplies.
In 2014, the government plans to direct the purchase of medicines, bandages and medical equipment worth 177 million manat, which is 9.9 % more than in 2013 and 20.3 % - than in 2012.
Project Manager Elmira Agayeva noted that the exhibition this year brought together on one platform 130 participants from 17 countries, showing 20% of both the number of participants as well as exhibition space. Among the newcomers, the number of which is 40 % of the total number of the exhibitors, there are companies from Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.
For the first time at the initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic shows National Exposition of the country. Nine of Czech companies will present orthopedic products, laboratory equipment, communications systems for nurse-patient relationship, rescue equipment and emergency room furniture for clinics. In general, the composition of exhibitors BIHE is 60% of foreign companies. A distinctive feature of the exhibition BIHE 2013 is that for the first time in her part of the organized sector of medical tourism, which includes about 15 different clinics.
In parallel, the 8th Azerbaijan International Exhibition on Dental Health and the 7th Azerbaijan International Exhibition Beauty and Aesthetic Medicine will be held. The exhibition will shut down on November 2. - 08C-
