Trade and Strategic Cooperation Between Russia and Azerbaijan Expands

The Agricultural Subsidy Council has announced the introduction of a new type of subsidy. According to the institution's decision, starting next year, an additional 60 manat per hectare subsidy will be provided for fields using modern irrigation systems. It is stated that subsidies for repeated crops will only apply to irrigated areas starting from 2025.

The IV Water Innovation Forum, organized by Aqualink LLC in partnership with the Caspian Energy Club, is set to take place on September 26.

Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), participated in a high-level meeting with a delegation from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), led by Regional Director for Europe, Ines Rocha. The discussion, held at the CBA, focused on key strategic priorities for transitioning to a green economy in Azerbaijan, with particular emphasis on developing essential infrastructure and sustainable financial initiatives.

The visit to Azerbaijan by a Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Nazarchuk concluded with significant discussions aimed at strengthening economic and trade relations between the two countries. The delegation’s meetings with various Azerbaijani ministries, including those of economics, agriculture, and digital development, reflect an active approach to preparing for President Alexander Lukashenko's forthcoming visit to Azerbaijan for COP29.
