Was There Bird Flu in Siyazan Broiler Factory?
“In the initial stage of cooperation with JSC Siyazan Broiler in 2013, the fact of the presence of the avian influenza virus was revealed. The blood samples tested in the accredited laboratory of the company Emre Pilic Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited gave a positive result. “This was said at the press conference on March 10 in Baku by the head and owner of the company Emre Pilic Omur Oral.
A spokesman for the Turkish company noted that the results of the analysis were presented in Siyazan Broiler and 200,000 birds were destroyed. After that, the manufacturer of the breeding eggs delivered the product to the Siyazan broiler factory for a total of $ 3.8 million. The cooperation of the parties continues to this day. According to Oral, his other company, Orallar, supplies 1 million breeding eggs to Siyazan every week.
The press secretary of the State Veterinary Service (SVS) under the Ministry of Agriculture Yolchu Khanveli said the bird flu in Azerbaijan was finished in April 2006. Since that time, Azerbaijan is considered a safe region. “There is a laboratory at SVS that can detect any kind of bird flu. Statements about the presence of this disease in one of the industrial enterprises in 2013 are not true.” ----08D
