With the support of the local StartUp Azercell representatives will visit the United States for the first time
BAKU/17.09.13/TURAN : A local mobile operator Azercell finances first visit youth, StartUp implementing projects in Azerbaijan , the Silicon Valley of the United States.
Seven representatives of the country have a unique opportunity as part of scientific and technological enterprise, carried out by Barama Innovation Center of Azercell and the U.S. Civilian Research and Development. Finalists will participate in business courses and conferences for start-up during a trip to San Francisco, Boston and Washington, between 14-28 September.
During the visit the " instigators " of local projects StartUp will take part in the conference "Global 1000 Meet" in San Francisco , whose main goal is to establish connections between advanced IT professionals who came from different parts of the world, as well as the well-known companies , investors, venture capital funds , whereby it will be possible to attract investments for the development of projects submitted.
Note that before the trip foreign mentors Barama Innovation Center conducted online courses for each participant startup project. During the final phase, which will be held in December this year, selected teams will present the international judges modified their business ideas. Award for the winners is planned in the amount of $ 10 million, second place - $ 7.5 million and third place - $ 5 million.
Azercell Telecom provides a variety of opportunities for young people to realize their ideas. The main goal of the Innovation Center for Barama, operating at Azercell, is a research, development and implementation of new ideas in the field of ICT.
