BP started oil production from a new platform on the ACG block

SOCAR and the French oil and gas company “TotalEnergies” have closed a deal to sell ADNOC from the UAE a 15% stake in the “Absheron” gas field development project in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, “TotalEnergies” announced.

Since April 25, BP has stopped the operation of the “Deepwater “Guneshli” platform at the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of fields for 15 days for prevention, the press service of bp-Azerbaijan. "The operation of the “Deepwater Guneshli” platform has been stopped for a period of 15 days since April 25 for more efficient implementation of planned preventive, inspection and design work," bp said.

Azerbaijan is considering the supply of crude oil to Kyrgyzstan,   Kyrgyz Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibrayev told Kyrgyz media. In the near future, the Junda oil refinery will start operating in Kyrgyzstan, which will consume more than 1 million tons of fuel annually, he said.
