Turkmen natural gas supplies to Türkiye will begin on March 1, 2025, Türkiye's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, announced on the social media platform X.

Turkmenistan's natural gas production in 2024 amounted to 77.6 bcm, while crude oil extraction reached 8.3 million tons, the head of Turkmenistan's State Statistics Committee, Dowletgeldi Amanmuhammedov, announced at a government meeting. However, the official did not provide a comparison with 2023, but emphasized that the country's industry is showing steady growth. Amanmuhammedov also added that in 2024, the production of bitumen increased by 10.2%, gasoline by 4.8%, fuel oil by 8.2%, and diesel by 0.6% compared to the previous year.
