Azerbaijan plans to establish a dedicated information system for the legalisation of official documents, as part of a broader push to digitalise public services, according to information reported by local media.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has unveiled the 2026 shortlist for its annual literature prize, featuring ten works of fiction in English translation from across its regions of operation, including a prominent Azerbaijani entry by Akram Aylisli.

At the Baku Serious Crimes Court, under the chairmanship of Judge Roman Alekberli, the next hearing was held in the criminal case of Imran Aliyev, head of the “Meclis.info” website, public activist Elgiz Gahraman, and accountant Tamella Musayeva.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Moscow on a working visit, during which he held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, including a one-on-one meeting over breakfast, a Kremlin representative said.
