Azerbaijan raises budget receipts from oil and gas sector by 32%

Receipts to the state budget from the oil and gas sector for the first half of 2024 amounted to AZN 8,797.7 million. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance. The report says it is up by 32.3% from the same period of 2023 and up by 3.8% from the forecasted. A share of the oil and gas sector in budget receipts rose from 42.95% to 46.7% over the past year. In January-June, tax receipts from the sector totaled AZN 2,407.2 million of budget...
