Azerbaijan reduced budget surplus by 44%

Receipts to the consolidated budget of Azerbaijan for the first half of 2024 totaled AZN 24,352.5 million, while the budget deductions totaled AZN 18,198.9 million. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance. The report says they are down by 9.1% and 15.8% from the same period of 2023, respectively. As a result, a surplus of AZN 6,153.6 million was formed in the consolidated budget, which is down by 44.4% from a year earlier.
