Azerbaijani banks increase their balance sheet capital by 5%

As of the end of September 2024, the Azerbaijani banks had a balance sheet capital of AZN 6,290.8 million. This is stated in the banking review published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. According to the document, this is down by 0.3% from the end of August. However, the balance sheet capital of banks rose by 3.75% as compared to the end of the last year and by 5% over the past year.
