Azerbaijani banks raise their assets by 7%

As of the end of May2024, Azerbaijani banks had assets worth AZN 49,147.5 million. This is stated in the banking review published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. According to the document, this is down by 0.15% from the end of April. Given this, assets of banks declined by 0.1% as compared to the end of the last year, while over the past year they grew by 7%.
