In the first half of 2024, transactions worth $17.8 billion were carried out in the non-cash currency market of Azerbaijan. This is stated in the "Monetary Policy Review" published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. According to the document, this is up by 32.8% from the same period of 2023. Given this, 81% of non-cash currency transactions were made in dollars, 19% in other currencies.
