MP Proposes to Hold Meeting with Heads of Banks in Parliament
Baku / 02.10.17 / Turan: MP Vahid Ahmedov proposed to hold a meeting with the heads of banks in the parliament.
At the plenary session of the Milli Majlis on Monday, V. Ahmedov suggested holding such a meeting either within the plenary session itself or within the framework of the meeting of the profile committee.
He noted that when setting up the Financial Markets Supervision Authority, there was a hope for the improvement of the banking sector.
"Unfortunately, we did not see this. The share of problem loans has grown. This is a serious process for the financial market of Azerbaijan," he said.
The MP said they have some proposals that should be discussed with the heads of banks. "The interests are too high, and the population cannot return the loans," the MP said. -71D-
