Municipal elections in Azerbaijan to cost more than AZN 35 million

AZN 35.1 million will be allocated from the state budget for municipal elections in Azerbaijan scheduled for 29 January next year.This is stated in the Law ‘On State Budget for 2025’, which President Ilham Aliyev approved on 27 December. According to the document, election expenses have fallen by 55.7% as compared to 2024. Note that Presidential and Parliamentary elections were held in Azerbaijan this year.
