In Kherson, several people were wounded as a result of shelling
DW: On the evening of Tuesday, December 19, Kherson came under fire from the Russian military, said the head of the city military administration, Roman Mrochko. Nine people, including four children, were injured, he added. Five victims were provided with medical assistance on the spot; they refused hospitalization, Mrochko noted.
That same evening, Kyiv was subjected to another air attack using unmanned aerial vehicles, said the head of the Kyiv city military administration, Sergei Popko. According to preliminary information, Shahed-type drones flew into the capital from the south, from the Black Sea.
All drones were hit by air defense forces while approaching the city, Popko emphasized. According to him, there were no casualties or destruction. A representative of the capital's authorities did not name the exact number of UAVs that attacked Kyiv, calling for a report from the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
On the night of December 20, the Kharkov authorities also reported the shelling. According to Mayor Igor Terekhov, at least two hits were recorded near residential buildings and civilian objects in “one of the most affected areas” of the city. The mayor did not indicate which district he was talking about. Authorities are clarifying information about the wounded and possible damage.
