More than 100 people killed in the explosions at the grave of Qasem Suleimani in Iran
Baku/03.01.24/Turan: On Wednesday evening, during mourning events in the city of Kerman, 103 people were killed at the grave of Iranian General Qasim Suleimani and another 180 were injured.
According to the IRNA agency, during the mourning ceremony there were two explosions with a difference of a few minutes. The bombs were placed in the bags that stood at the entrance to the cemetery, they were blown up remotely.
The commander of the elite IRGC unit, Major General Qasem Suleimani, was killed in Iraq in a missile strike on January 3, 2020 near Baghdad airport.
Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy commander of the pro-Iranian Forces of the Iraqi People's Militia, was also killed.
On the same day, then U.S. President Donald Trump admitted that it was an American special operation. Trump said that Suleimani was involved in the death of a large number of protesters in Iran, as well as "killed or wounded thousands of Americans" for a long time and "planned to kill even more." -0-
