Telman Ismayilov Wanted by Interpol
Moscow / 05.12.17 / Turan: Telman Ismayilov is charged in absentia with murder, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reports.
The investigation considers the former owner of the Cherkizovsky market to be the organizer of the murder of two businessmen in 2016. This was reported by TASS, citing the official representative of the Investigative Committee, Svetlana Petrenko.
"The Main Department for the Investigation of Especially Important Cases issued a decision to accuse Telman Ismayilov of committing a murder and illicit trafficking of arms.
According to the investigation, Telman Ismayilov is the organizer of the murder of two businessmen, Vladimir Savkin and Yury Brylev, committed last year," Petrenko said.
According to the investigation, the defendant developed a murder plan together with his brothers, Rafik and Vagif Ismayilov, and Mehman Kerimov acted as the performer.
On May 15, 2016 on the Novorizhskoye highway of Moscow Kerimov shot the two businessmen in their car.
Rafik Ismayilov agreed with his brothers to take Kerimov from the crime scene, after which the accomplices helped him escape and conceal the instrument of the crime.
Rafik Ismayilov and Mehman Kerimov were arrested. In respect of Telman and Vagif Ismayilov, a preventive measure of arrest was chosen in absentia.
The department also said they sent materials to the Prosecutor General"s Office to include Telman Ismayilov in search through Interpol.
According to unofficial reports, Ismayilov is hiding in France, and according to other sources, he is in Turkey. -02D-
