The essence of the attempted coup d'état by the terrorist organization Fethullah Gülen (FETÖ) on July 15, 2016 and averted by the will of the people of Turkey is more widely explained to the public and the world.

The news agency Turan has already reported that, to this end, the Office of Communication under the President of Turkey has installed a tent on the Taksim Square in Istanbul for the presentation of relevant materials.

In the tent, consisting of five sections was demonstrated: the situation in the country on the eve of the attempted military coup FETÖ on July 15, 2016; events that occurred during the hours of the attempted coup; President R.T. Erdogan"s appeal to the people at midnight on July 16 with a call to enter the square; the videotape of the beginning of the attempts of a coup d'etat and a rally in defense of democracy on Yenikapi Square on August 7 with the participation of the country's leadership and leaders of political parties.

Employees of the Office of Communication provide detailed information on the videos that caused an increased interest among Turkish citizens, foreign tourists, local and foreign media. The office plans to show several videos about the attempted military coup FETÖ on July 15 in a tent on Taksim Square.

It is expected that on July 15, at 20 o'clock, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will address the people from Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, which was one of the main centers of the attempted coup.

The members of the terrorist organization by Fethullah, who had infiltrated for many years in various institutions of the Turkish state, including the army, put the latter in motion, on July 15, 2016 attempted a military coup. When members of political parties represented in parliament, meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, opposed the attempted coup, the terrorists twice bombarded the building of the Melisa.

On July 16, at 00:30 am President R.T. Erdogan came out in a live broadcast from one of the southern hotels and called on the people to resist an attempt at a military coup and disarm the conspirators. After the call of President Erdogan, the masses went to the streets and squares and repelled the attempted coup.

President Erdogan, landed at about 4 o'clock in the morning at the Istanbul airport with his family, and again turned to the people. After completely preventing the attempted coup, President Erdogan left the Istanbul airport on July 16 at 16 o'clock.

On August 7, at the initiative of President Erdogan, a rally in defense of democracy was held in Istanbul with the participation of 5 million people. The leaders of the political parties represented in the parliament, speaking at the rally, called for national unity and equality, stressed the need to deepen democracy in the country so that no one else would attempt a military coup.

By the decision of the government, 251 military and civilians who died while FETÖ attempted a coup d'état on July 15, 2016, were given the status of a martyrs.

Large-scale investigation, conducted with the aim of cleansing all structures of the Turkish state from the members and supporters of the terrorist organization Fethullah, continues today.
