Food prices down 2% in November
Baku/01.12.23/Turan: In November in Baku, the average price of consumer basket (PC) for 30 types of basic food products of domestic production, compiled by Turan agency, went down by 2%.
In October, the average price of PC went down by 0.5%, in September went up by 3%, in August - by 0.8%, in July went down by 3%, in June - by 7%, in May - went down by 7%, in April - went up by 0.7%, in February - by 1%, in January - by 2.6%, in December - by 1%, in November - by 0.3%, in October - by 0.7%.
Prices went up: cucumbers (+246%), apples (+43%), cabbage (+25%), potatoes (+23%), chicken (+11%), onions (+6).
Prices went down: buckwheat (-61%), tomatoes (-26%), milk (-24%), margarine (-12%), feta cheese (-10%).
Prices of other food products remained stable or changed slightly.
In November 2022, food prices went up by 2%.
In November 2021, prices went up by 2.9%.
In November 2020, prices went up by 2.7%
In November 2019, prices went down by 1.2%.
In November 2018, prices went up by 1.2%.
