In January, after the second wave of devaluation of the manat, a decrease of 6.4%.

In February, most chicken gained (3.6%), giblets (3.3%), milk (+ 6.9%), cucumbers (+ 9.5%), apples (31%).

On other products prices generally remained stable.

Uncharacteristically, that in a cheapening of manat, decreased prices of basic foodstuffs, mainly dependent on imports. This, experts say, is a consequence of the legalization of customs duties and the rejection of illegal fees from importers.

It should be noted that in Baku the average price of consumer goods increased by 11.52% in December 2015, and is mainly imported.

Turan also confirmed the January forecast of the stabilization of prices in February. -0--
