In May, prices for construction materials rose by 0.78%.
This was due to higher prices for construction bars of all profiles by 1.5% from 640 to 650 AZN. The prices of other materials remained unchanged.
In April, prices rose by 4.3% and in March - by 2%. In February, prices decreased by 8.5%. In January, they were stable. In December, prices rose by 19.2%. It was the most noticeable jump in prices for 2015. Before that, even building materials fell significantly in November - by 8.6%. In October, the average price decreased by 0.5% in Baku the changes were observed as follows: September (- 0.027%), August (-1.75%), July (+ 0.32%), June (-0.27%), May (+ 0.45%), and April (- 0.1%).
Experts note that the stagnation of prices in the individual construction season does not promise anything good. In summer you can expect a slight revival of the construction, repair, and as a result prices increase. By the fall the construction usually freezes, and therefore, we should expect a decrease in prices for construction materials in the conditions of general economic crisis.
