The situation with lending in Azerbaijani banks

In June 2024, the situation with accepting deposits in 2 banks of Azerbaijan changed. Banks have revised the percentage of deposits placed in manats and US dollars.

Investment companies operating in the securities market of Azerbaijan have published financial (audit) reports for 2023. The analysis of financial indicators in the reports shows that the efficiency of activities in the capital market increased last year. We can say this based on the ratio of the net profit earned by the sector at the end of the year to the assets and authorized capital it owned at the beginning of this year.
