During the reviewed period, the media agenda in Azerbaijan continued to be dominated by developments in the Middle East and, in this context, the impact of the regional crisis on Azerbaijan. Media outlets widely reported on expressions of gratitude from Tehran to Azerbaijan for assistance provided to Iranian pilgrims stranded abroad. At the same time, attention was drawn to the growing role of Azerbaijan as a logistical hub in the delivery of humanitarian aid to Iran.
