President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on May 5 received in Baku a delegation of the European Union led by the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas. On May 6, Aliyev received a delegation of the Islamic Development Bank. Azerbaijani company Arkan Innovations LLC presented new loitering munitions at a defense exhibition in Istanbul.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated his readiness to participate in a similar summit planned to be held in Azerbaijan in 2028. In turn, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who addressed the summit via video link, reaffirmed Baku’s commitment to the peace agenda and the normalization of relations with Armenia.
