Baku/17.11.23/Turan: The Azerbaijani national football team defeated the Swedish team with a large score of 3:0 in the qualifying match of the European Championship on November 16.
The captain of the Azerbaijani national team, Emin Makhmudov, opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, receiving a pass from Renat Dadashev.
In the 6th minute it was Dadashev himself who made the difference, doubling the score.
In the 57th minute, the Azerbaijani team found itself in the minority after Bahlul Mustafazadeh knocked down a player from the Swedish national team near the penalty area.
However, the Swedish team failed to take advantage of their numerical advantage.
On the contrary, the hosts scored the third goal: in the 89th minute, Makhmudov, seeing that the Swedish goalkeeper had gone far ahead, hit the goal directly from the center of the field.
