The author of the tombstone is academician of the Russian Art Academy, sculptor Aydin Zeynalov.

Famous Soviet and Azerbaijani film dramatist and public figure Rustam Ibragimbekov died on March 11, 2022 in Moscow at the age of 83.
In 1967 he graduated from the Higher Script Courses in Moscow, and in 1974 the Higher Director's Courses at the All-Union Institute of Cinematography.
Author of dozens of films and scripts. The most famous of which is the "White Sun of the Desert". In collaboration with Nikita Mikhalkov, he made films such as Urga. Territory of Love" - awarded the main prize of the Venice Film Festival "Golden Lion", the State Prize of the Russian Federation; "Burnt by the Sun" - a picture that received an Oscar for the best foreign film, the Grand Prix of the Jury of the Cannes Film Festival, the State Prize of the Russian Federation; and "The Barber of Siberia", which also received the State Prize.
He created the first children's film school in Baku, which took pride of place in many film festivals.
Chairman of the Confederation of Unions of Cinematographers of the CIS and Baltic States, Secretary of the TFR, Chairman of the Moscow Jewish Film Festival, Chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan, member of the Felix European Film Academy and the American Film Academy.
In 2008, he gave an interview critical of the Azerbaijani authorities, which was seen as a challenge to the ruling regime. Then the persecution and persecution began. On July 2, 2013, Rustam Ibrahimbayov was nominated as a single candidate from the opposition National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) in the presidential elections in Azerbaijan. This further aggravated his conflict with the authorities.
Four years later, relations with the authorities normalized and Ibragimbekov was able to return to the country from involuntary exile and resumed active cinematic work.
