Baku/17.10.23/Turan: On October 17, 10 Azerbaijani citizens - 9 children and 1 woman - were repatriated from Syria to Baku via Turkey. In Syria, they were in various camps.
According to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, four of the repatriated children lost both parents.
The implementation of appropriate measures for the social rehabilitation and reintegration of repatriates is envisaged, the report says.
It should be noted that hundreds of Azerbaijani citizens took part in hostilities as part of radical religious groups in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries. Many of them died, leaving their families to fend for themselves. ---0---
