Iran's Foreign Minister warns of preventive measures against Israel
İRNA: In a recent statement, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian issued a stern warning to Israel, saying that the leaders of the Palestinian Resistance Front will not allow the regime to act in the region as it pleases. The Foreign Minister also indicated that preventive actions of the resistance front could be taken in the coming hours.
During an interview with an Iranian TV channel on Monday evening, Amir Abdollahiyan spoke about his recent meetings with resistance leaders, including Hassan Nasrullah, the secretary general of the Lebanese Hezbollah. He stressed the readiness of the resistance front to resist any actions taken by the Zionist regime in the region.
Amir Abdollahiyan stressed that the resistance leaders carefully considered various options and scenarios. Although they are ready to make a political decision, they remain determined that any further crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the civilian population can lead to decisive action. He said: "We are trying not to expand the scale of the war, but the resistance front will change the geographical map of Israel if Israel's crimes continue."
The Foreign Minister referred to his recent conversations with colleagues from Islamic countries, suggesting that if the limited capabilities of the United Nations are not used, the possibility of new fronts against the Zionist regime is becoming more likely.
Amir Abdollahian stressed Iran's position against the expansion of the conflict, expressing concern about "war crimes committed against the people of Gaza." He called on the United States to stop war crimes against civilians instead of transmitting "hypocritical messages."
As for the possibility of Iran's entry into a military conflict, the Foreign Minister stressed that any scenario is within the limits of possibility, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation and the potential consequences of the ongoing aggression by the Zionist regime.
