Abdullayev: SOCAR is the guarantor of energy security of Georgia
State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is the guarantor of energy security of Georgia, according to Prime Minister of Georgia, Bidzina Ivanishvili, said on Tuesday, 20 November, the president of SOCAR, Rovnag Abdullayev at the plenary session of the Milli Mejlis.
Abdullayev said that during his visit to Georgia, he held two meetings with the Georgian prime minister, and both times he expressed a confidence that the economic relations with Azerbaijan will develop.
"Ivanishvili said with confidence that the future development of the business by SOCAR in Georgia is beneficial both for Georgia and Azerbaijan," said the president of the company.
Speaking about the latest events in the regions of Georgia, an assault on the Azerbaijanis, Abdullayev referring to Ivanishvili, said that in two weeks all criminal elements are eliminated.
"Premier said that such attacks are not against Azerbaijanis," said Abdullayev. -02D-
