Ahead of Aliyev's visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jabbarov met with Krishto in Sarajevo
Baku/13.03.23/Turan: On the eve of the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH) today the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krishto met in Sarajevo with the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikail Jabbarov.
According to the Bosnia and Herzegovina government website, the parties agreed that bilateral relations between the two countries are good and without outstanding issues, and that they represent a favorable basis for further strengthening of both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Krishto briefed Minister Jabbarov on the planned activities regarding the economic development of BH, underlining that the experience of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as one of the fastest growing economies in the world, can be beneficial for our country in many ways. In this context, special attention is paid to prospects of boosting economic cooperation, including by means of boosting Azerbaijani investments, Krishto said.
Minister Jabbarov said that Azerbaijan appreciates the good political relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and expressed interest in improving economic relations through the identification and implementation of projects of common interest.
Krishto thanked Azerbaijan for all the help given to Bosnia and Herzegovina so far.-0-

During the final press conference, Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric reported that the discussions focused on the development of tourism. "We are strengthening efforts to open direct air routes, as well as economic development and energy," said Djuric. The minister expressed confidence that cooperation between Serbia and Azerbaijan would become even closer and more intensive in the near future.
