On January 18, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, who is visiting Baku. According to the official website of the President, during the visit, the parties highlighted the successful development of the friendly, fraternal, and strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in political, economic, and other areas.
It was expressed that the two countries' bilateral ties will continue to strengthen in the future.
Aliyev and Fidan exchanged views on the prospects of bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest.
