Allahshukur Pashazadeh Condemns Transfer of US Embassy to Jerusalem
Baku / 15.05.18 / Turan: "Kudüs (Jerusalem) is the capital of Palestine and interference of any state there can cause great confrontation". This was stated by the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslim Department (CMD), Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazadeh. He pointed to the insufficient attention paid by the international community to this issue.
The opening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem caused a wave of protests in the Palestinian Authority. The Israeli military opened fire on unarmed Palestinians, who were trying to break into the territory of Israel. As a result, 59 Palestinians were killed and 2,700 Palestinians were wounded. These data were reported by the health department of the Palestinian Authority.
