Ambassador of Cuba to Azerbaijan meets with left-wing parties
On July 1 at the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Baku a friendly meeting was held between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Cuba to Azerbaijan Omar Medina Quintero and the leaders of two allied to each other left-wing parties - the Communist Party of Azerbaijan (CPA) and the Progressive Socialist Party of Azerbaijan (PSPA) – Gyulnisa Maximova and Rustam Shakhsuvarov.
Participants of the meeting discussed the cooperation between Cuba and Azerbaijan, and stressed the successful development of bilateral cooperation and the interest of both peoples and government leaderships in it. They also talked about the achievements of Cuba and Azerbaijan in various fields and stressed the magnificent success of the just-concluded European Games in Baku.
Participants of the meeting also expressed their intention to develop cooperation and exchange of experience between the Communists and non-governmental organizations of Cuba and the Communists and Socialists of Azerbaijan. -06D-
