The unrest was due to an accident. So, the car brand Hummer of the nephew of the head of the executive power Nizami Alekperov and the son of the Labor Minister Fizuli Alekperov Vugar Alekperov collided with another car. Alekperov got out of the car and began to insult the people that were in the other car. Information about this began to spread in the area and outraged local residents gathered and began to smash commercial facilities of the Alekperov family.
According to some data, the police can not resist the angry people and the situation has got out of control of local authorities.
