Another suspect of Ganja events was killed in the course of the special operation by law enforcement structures
Baku/21.07.18/Turan: Law enforcement structures conducted a special operation against a group of persons accused of attempt on the life of the mayor of the city of Ganja and the murder of two police officers in this city. Another defendant was killed whilearmed resistance, reads the joint statement of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Moscow Department of the Interior and the State Security Committee, released on Saturday.
According to a press release, on July 20 it was established that one of the active members of an organized group that committed serious crimes in the city of Ganja, who had close ties with YunisSafarov (who shot at the head of Ganja ElmarBeliyevon July 3), previously convicted BagirovAnar Islam ogluhid in the territory of the village of Hojasan in the Binagadi district.
During the operation conducted by the special operational group of the State Security Service, Bagirov provided armed resistance, and as a result of the retaliatory measures, was eliminated.
On the scene were found and one "Makarov" pistol and ammunition were confiscated as physical evidence.
