Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Special Representative for negotiations with Turkey Ruben Rubinyan told reporters that the Turkish side assures that it is carrying out similar work at its site.
The talk is about opening the border for citizens of third countries. Earlier it was said that the parties want to open the border at the height of the tourist season. The politician said that a new round of negotiations between the special representatives of the two countries is not planned yet. There are agreements reached, and now work is underway to implement them.
Speaking about the restoration of the Aniysky Bridge on the border of the two countries, which was agreed in February this year, Rubinyan said that the issue remains in force, although work has not yet begun. The Vice-Speaker is not inclined to believe that there will be any obstacles on the way to the implementation of the plans. At least, there are no obstacles on the Armenian side.
