Armenia should make peace with Turkey and Azerbaijan - future President of Armenia
Baku/03.02.22/Turan: Armenia must live in peace with Azerbaijan and Turkey. Vahagn Khachatryan, a presidential candidate of the ruling Civic Agreement Party, stated in an interview with Armenian Public TV.
Note that Khachatryan has no idea how it is possible to fight and argue with neighbors. "I believe one can only live peacefully with neighbors," he emphasized. He called the opposition's thesis that Armenia is "being forced into peace" outdated.
"The citizens of Armenia must understand that peace is the only option for life and development. Even if we are very strong, we should strive for peace and be guided by this approach in our relations with others," Khachatryan noted.
As for the Armenian-Turkish process, he treats it very positively. "It should be continued, eventually the process will lead to economic and political relations," Khachatryan said. -02D-
