Armenian Foreign Minister visits Turkey today
Baku/02/15.23/Turan: Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan is flying to Turkey today, where he will hold a meeting with his counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu. Also, he will visit the earthquake-stricken city of Adiyaman, where search and rescue operations are carried out by Armenian rescuers.
This was announced by the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahan Hunanyan.
EU Special Representative Toivo Klaar called the visit historic: “This is a historic visit following decision to support its neighbour in need. Hopefully a harbinger of developments to come in the - relationship”.
Recall that Mirzoyan had already visited Turkey last year. On March 12, 2022, Cavusoglu and Mirzoyan held talks in Antalya on the sidelines of the second Diplomatic Forum.-0-
