Bodies of 4 Azerbaijani students found in Malatya
Baku/02/15.23/Turan: The number of Azerbaijani citizens killed in the February 6 earthquake in Turkey has reached 10, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported on February 15.
The bodies of students were found in Malatya the day before: Samir Guliyev, Shahin Veliyev, Umam Ismayilly and Gunduz Nazarzade.
The bodies will be delivered to Azerbaijan on February 16.
Today, a message was received about the discovery of the body of another Azerbaijani citizen, Lida Gojayeva.
To date, 5 Azerbaijani citizens have been reported dead. The Foreign Ministry added that 513 Azerbaijani citizens have already been evacuated from the earthquake zone in Turkey.
The evacuation process is ongoing in Kahramanmarash, Hatay, Adana, Malatya, Adiyaman, Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Osmania, Kilis and Diyarbakir, where the earthquake occurred. Those who do not intend to return to Azerbaijan can apply to evacuation points set up by the Turkish gendarmerie to move to safe regions of Turkey. -06D-
