Armenian Hackers Attack Websites of Azerbaijan from Iran
Since September 1, Armenian hackers have been attacking information resources of Azerbaijan, as well as sites of public structures. According to the Armenian media, it is the work of Armenian Cyber Army.
In particular, the affected sites are 1news, APA, Day.az, Trend and others. The Justice Ministry's website was also hacked, and the hackers placed anti-Azerbaijani materials there.
This action followed the decision of the authorities of Azerbaijan to indemnify Ramil Safarov extradited from Hungary on August 31, where he was serving a life sentence for the murder of an Armenian officer.
On the same day, the President of Armenia held a Security Council meeting, where he instructed the head of the National Security Service to conduct "special measures".
Apparently, the hacking is the answer of Sargsyan to the release of Safarov.
According to experts in the field of Internet communication, attacks on Azerbaijani websites originate from IP registered on the territory of Iran. -02V-

Azerbaijan is positioning itself as a key energy partner for Europe amidst growing challenges in the natural gas market following the cessation of Russian gas transit through Ukraine. The disruption, marking the end of a decade-long transit route, is expected to heighten competition in the global liquefied natural gas (LNG) market and drive up prices for alternative energy sources.
