Armenians Attack Aircraft of Azerbaijan Air Force
Baku / 13.06.19 / Turan: The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported an enemy attack in the south-east front on the morning of June 12.
"On the morning of June 12, the Azerbaijani Air Forces conducted scheduled training flights in the Fizuli direction of the front. At this time, the Armenian Armed Forces, using the Osa anti-aircraft missile system, attempted to bring down our aviation assets. Two missiles fired from the anti-aircraft missile system, without hitting the target, self-destructed in the air," the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan said in a statement.
The launch of the missiles was recorded by an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
In turn, the Armenian media quoted the country's Defense Minister, David Tonoyan, that the situation on the border was relatively stable yesterday and today.
When asked about the activation of Azerbaijani drones, Tonoyan said: "Our drones also fly around the perimeter."
