Armenians Attack Azerbaijanis in Toronto
Baku / 03.08.20 / Turan: On the night of August 2, representatives of the Armenian community of Toronto attacked two Azerbaijanis with cold weapons and firearms, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Canada said.
“Two Azerbaijanis, who were attacked by a group of Armenians, received bodily injuries of varying severity. Their condition is currently stable. One of them is in hospital,” the message says.
The police took evidence from the victims and established the whereabouts of the Armenians who had committed the attack.
The Azerbaijani Embassy is in constant contact with the relevant state bodies of Azerbaijan and keeps the issue under control.
Attacks by Armenians on Azerbaijanis began after the escalation of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on July 12-16.
Major acts of violence against Azerbaijanis were committed in Los Angeles, Brussels and a number of other European cities.
In addition, clashes between Azerbaijanis and Armenians took place in Moscow. –05D06-
