Attempts by separatists to win peacekeepers over to their side failed
Baku/13.12.22/Turan: The command of Russian peacekeepers refused to discuss the situation in the Lachin corridor with the leaders of the Karabakh separatists, reports the Armenian edition of Hraparak. General Volkov refused to talk to Security Council head Vitaly Balasanyan and "deputies of the Karabakh parliament."
“Russian peacekeepers said that there would be no negotiations, this is also the demand of the Azerbaijanis. They stated that the problem requires a political solution, and they are not going to use force to remove the Azerbaijanis. When they receive this decision “from above,” they will understand what to do,” the newspaper writes.
Earlier, members of the “Karabakh parliament” called on the peacekeepers to take “tougher measures and stop the inhuman actions of Azerbaijanis,” the newspaper writes. ---02B---
