Baku / 12.12.18 / Turan: From the morning of December 12, the streets leading to the Alley of Honorary Burial have been blocked. The traffic has been stopped due to the mass visits to the tomb of former President Heydar Aliyev by citizens. Today marks 15 years since his death.
One of the first, his grave was visited by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and members of his family. Following this, flowers and wreaths were laid on the grave by all members of the government, members of parliament, heads of state institutions and members of the public.
Following this, the Alley of Honorary Burial was opened for common citizens who will carry flowers to the grave throughout the day. -02D-
