Azerbaijan and Armenia have approved the rules of procedure for meetings of the state commissions on border delimitation
Baku/14.12.23/Turan: Azerbaijan and Armenia have approved the rules of procedure for organizing and holding meetings and joint working meetings between state commissions on border delimitation. According to the document, the date, time and place of meetings and joint working meetings are determined by agreement between the chairmen of the commissions. The working languages of the meetings are Russian or English.
Meetings and joint meetings are held alternately in the territories of Azerbaijan and Armenia, or on the border of the two countries, or on the territory of third countries, or in the format of a videoconference. Foreign experts participating in the delegations may speak on behalf of the party whose delegations they are part of.
By agreement of the commissions, third parties may provide advisory assistance at meetings and working meetings. Any information about the course and outcome of meetings, including drafts or agreed documents, may be transferred to a third party only by prior agreement of the parties. Following the results of the meetings and joint working meetings, a protocol and agreed messages for the media are drawn up, which are published simultaneously.
If the commissions do not agree on the content of the media message, they publish limited information. This regulation is published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan. The document was approved by Prime Minister Ali Asadov. –06B-
