Azerbaijan and Bulgaria will strengthen cooperation in energy and not only
Baku / 21.07.22 / Turan: On July 21, Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov arrived in Baku on a working visit. He held a one-on-one meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, and then a meeting was held with the participation of delegations.
“We discussed very important issues of bilateral relations over the phone. I am glad that now you have arrived in our country and there is an opportunity to exchange views on issues of our cooperation more widely,” Aliyev said.
“Issues of energy security are the top priorities on the global agenda today. I am glad that we have established cooperation with Bulgaria in the field of energy and that you are receiving gas through the Southern Gas Corridor pipeline», -Aliyev said.
In response, Petkov expressed gratitude for the support provided to Bulgaria by Azerbaijan in the past six months. He expressed Bulgaria's readiness to strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan not only in energy but also in all other areas. Bulgaria is ready to support Azerbaijan within the European Union, he added.
During the meeting with the participation of delegations, Aliyev noted that the two countries can successfully cooperate in the field of transit transportation by rail from Asia to Europe.
Kiril Petkov repeated that Bulgaria will not forget the help and support of Azerbaijan in difficult times and will always be there. He expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of high technologies, logistics, exports to Europe, and energy. -02D-

During the proceedings, the court reviewed a response from the 28th Police Station of the Yasamal District in Baku. At the previous hearing, the defense had requested that the court obtain footage from the surveillance cameras at this police station, where Guliyev was taken on December 4 of last year. However, the police response stated that the video footage had not been preserved.
