Azerbaijan and Norway sign agreement on visa facilitation and readmission
Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and Ambassador of Norway to Azerbaijan, Bord Ivar Svendsen, today signed two agreements on the simplification of procedures for issuing visas and readmission of persons residing without authorization. According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, the documents include: simplification of procedures for issuing visas to citizens of Azerbaijan and Norway; visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports; reduction of the visa fee; identification and safe return of persons who do not comply with the conditions of entry and residence in Azerbaijan and Norway. The information of the Foreign Ministry also said that the agreement contributes to the further strengthening of relations between Azerbaijan and Norway in the economic, humanitarian, cultural, scientific and other spheres. -16D-
